Clarksville, TN – Each week, Clarksville Online will bring you pets from different rescue organizations in need of a good home in and around Clarksville-Montgomery County. This week’s animals are for the week of April 25, 2022.

Dogs and cats of all ages, breeds and sizes are available at area animal shelters and shelters, along with opportunities to help homeless animals through foster programs, donations and helping with fundraisers and other family activities.

She loves the company of small dogs as large ones tend to scare her and this is unheard of in cats. She will love all outdoor activities and a fenced in yard with room to run and play would be ideal.

Tig is a very striking one year old male cat with the most beautiful coloring. He is fully vetted, neutered and litter trained. Tig is shy at first but can be bribed with wet food. This boy loves his food!! He has an eye that moves on its own but doesn’t affect him at all. Gets along well with cats and tolerates cat-loving dogs. PPR&C also has a wonderful Cat Cafe in town.

Ben is a very active 9-10 year old young herding dog mix. He is very energetic and smart, knows commands and needs a home with lots of love and belly massages!! He is an excellent companion for hiking, biking or running. He is fully vetted, neutered, Heartworm negative and house trained.


He gets along well with children, plays and loves to run. He does well with dogs but sometimes his energy can be a bit too much for some dogs! Sorry but NO cats please. Ben loves attention, plenty of room to run around and will be your constant companion.
