Heartbroken pet owner’s emotional plea after beloved cockatiel goes missing in Doncaster

Owner Emma Jenkinson is offering a £250 reward for the bird which has been missing from her home in Conisbrough for over two weeks.

She said: ‘I’m heartbroken and just need his house – good news or bad news.

“There hasn’t been a single sighting of her. I really need to know where my baby girl is.

Emma has appealed for the safe return of her beloved cockatiel.

“It absolutely breaks my heart, I need to know where she is even if it’s bad news.”

The bird disappeared on August 19 from Gomersall Avenue in Conisbrough and Emma added: “Her best friend is very depressed without her and calls her constantly.

“I don’t know if it will last much longer, I have never seen such a depressed bird.”

She says the cockatiel, which she did not name, flew out her window and has not been seen since.

She made repeated calls via social media and searched the surrounding area in an attempt to find her pet.

“Please, please, if you have my baby girl and you are taking care of her, then please bring her back to me,” she added.

“There is a cash reward of £250. Even if you walked around and saw her sadly deceased, I would love to come collect her remains.”

“She doesn’t have a ring on either leg, she’s just over a year old. She flew out my bedroom window – she won’t come to you, so if you see her, give me a ring at 07949198594.”

“She just makes a little hissing/squealing noise and doesn’t talk or anything.

“She is normal gray with white at the tips of her wings, light orange cheeks with a greenish crest on her head and green under her tail with black stripes, her toes are dark, and her nails are black.

“She’s such a beloved pet and we need to know her whereabouts. My life was completely shattered without her.”
