They then noticed that two neighbors were giving treats to their dogs. The dog’s owner asked them to stop feeding the dog. The dog had recently has been “poisoned by a madman” that targeted dogs in their old neighborhood. This meant he needed a special diet for his organs to recover.
One of the neighbors, an elderly man, agreed. But the other neighbour, an elderly woman, became hostile. She gave a ‘tirade’ about how the dog’s owner shouldn’t move to a neighborhood with dog lovers if they “I don’t want my dog to be liked by them.”
She called the dog owner ‘rude’ and said the dog was ‘too skinny and looked abused’. But the dog appeared like this because he had been poisoned.
The editors thought the neighbor should have respected the wishes of the dog’s owner.
“If she doesn’t listen to your rules about the animal(s) you are responsible for, you need to keep her away from them,” someone said. wrote.
“It’s YOUR dog. YOU decide who gives him treats and when,” a person said.
“If she really loved dogs, she would listen to the owner to find out what he can and cannot eat,” another added.
