A Plymouth man is appealing for help after his pet parrot managed to escape and is now thought to be missing.
Julian Green says his parrot, named Bubba, was last seen in King’s Tamerton and urged locals to “keep an eye out” for his bird.
The exotic pet owner posted his plea on the ‘Plymouth (UK) Pets Lost and Found’ social media page and asked those with information to message him.

His message read: “I have lost my parrot in the King’s Tamerton area, responds to the name ‘Bubba’, please keep an eye out and message me if you see him please” (sic).
Bubba is mostly green and blue, with black feathers under his beak.
If you have any information or have seen Bubba, please contact Julian via Plymouth (UK) Lost and found animals.
The King’s Tamerton area is well known for its exotic pets after it was reported that a local man kept a pet lynx.
After a Freedom of Information request returned data suggesting a pet lynx lived in Plymouth, we managed to track down the animal and speak to its owner. Read about our Plymouth big cat hunt here.
